Company History

Well Collar'd is the brain child of Helen Littlejohns. 

Helen has always been a creative person, turning her hand to anything that can be stitched together, clothes, toys and now dog items.

Well Collar'd came to life in 2007. Helen had been wanting to find an alternative to the usual Christmas present for her doggie friends.  How long does your usual Christmas stocking last?  Boxing day and it is all gone!  Is there any way she could make something that would last and that can be used time and time again?

The idea of Christmas Collars came up.  She sourced out the materials from various suppliers and slowley created a collar, that was soft but very, very strong.  Her designs were very different from any thing you could find in your pet shop, infact they were exclusive.

And so,  her doggie friends, had a wonderful christmas.  There owners were thrilled with the collars and started to ask if there was any way that they could have an every day collar.  Again, materials were sourced and more and more collars were created.

We at Well Collar'd pride ourselves on designs that no one else has, we have collars for all occasions, whether you are a dog that likes to change its collar every day or your collar stays on all day, its comforting to know that you can rely on a company that can produce something for your needs.

Well Collar'd now has over 200 designs in its on line shop.  We have now introduced ourselves to local pet shops and stores, as we feel that every one should be entitled to a collar that is just that little bit different, something that can be fun to wear, yet safe and strong, something that is practical, yet pretty.  Something that will get you noticed.

We now have introduced matching leads, bandannas and harnesses to our range, In all sorts of shapes and sizes, to fit the smallest of breeds to the giants.

Our promise to you, our customers is, if you can't find any thing that you like in our shop, send me some material and I will make you a collar and send it back to you free from postage charges.  You can't say fairer than that.
